I like to draw and to paint. The desire to produce art has been with me since I was very little. As a kid, I was inspired by the detail and use of color in drawings that my grandmother created. I worked very hard as a kid to reproduce drawings of my favorite cartoons, never wanting to trace. So from an early age I was developing skills that are now invaluable to me. My drawings of everyday things were always unsatisfying, so I focused more on just doing silly drawings of my friends, which were good for a laugh. It wasn't until I attended my first drawing class in college that I learned how to see the details in real life, and transfer them to paper. In my gallery is essentially all of my student work from college, and the last couple years outside of college. When I'm not working, I'm either creating art, thinking about creating art, or stressed that I'm not able to do the either of those things. Art has always been a part of my life, and even when times have been tough, my creative mentality has always motivated me.
